Dr. Jesus H. Chavez, Superintendent of Brownsville Independent School District, will be retiring after over two years of dedicated service. A proud Brownsville native, he has worked tirelessly during his tenure to strengthen our schools and support our community. Throughout his time as superintendent, he has strived to create a positive environment for students, staff, and families.
We thank him for his leadership and wish him all the best in his retirement. His dedication has made a lasting impact on our district, and he will be truly missed.
