Brownsville ISD is partnering with other school districts in Region One to support our fellow Texans in their time of need. We are currently collecting gift card donations to assist those affected as they work to rebuild after the devastating floods.

You can drop off your gift cards at the BISD Administration Building from July 7 to July 9, between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

🚧 Exciting changes are coming to Sams Memorial Stadium! 🚧 The stadium will soon be transformed into a multi-use football and soccer complex. It will host a full fall schedule of varsity football games, boys and girls soccer matches from December through April, and eventually UTRGV Division I football games. Please note that Jefferson Street will experience increased activity with trucks delivering turf, asphalt, and other materials. We recommend using alternate routes when possible. Crews could be working into the evening hours, with stadium lights on to ensure safety and efficient progress. Thank you for your patience as we make these exciting improvements! 🔧⚽🏈

Brownsville ISD is pleased to announce that Johnny Garza has been selected as our new Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator for Rivera Early College High School! 🏆🏈 Coach Garza brings passion, dedication, and proven leadership to our Raiders family. With many years of experience as a coach and defensive coordinator, he helped lead his former team to numerous playoff appearances.
