The 2025 Texas State Girls’ Chess Championships were held on Saturday October 11, 2025, at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Brownsville Campus. Over 100 BISD girls from kindergarten through 12th grade participated. The following girls have qualified to advance to the All-Girls National Chess Championship which will take place April 10-12, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.
