Results Driven Accountability
Brownsville ISD annually is evaluated in three main program areas:
- Emergent Bilingual Program
- Other Special Populations (OSP) including Homeless, Foster Care, and Military Connected Students
- Special Education Program and Services
TEA determines performance levels for students in these programs related to State Assessments, Identification for Services, Dyslexia Services to these populations, and Discipline Disproportionality for Special Education students of all ethnicities.
The BISD District Leadership Team is required to meet and create plans with activities for any indicator that is a performance level 2 or above. More information about TEA Results Driven Accountability can be found on the TEA RDA website
