Pocket Prairie

What is a Pocket Prairie?      (Haga clic aquí para información en español.)
A pocket prairie is a small, artificially created, self-sustaining green space where native plants and forbs thrive. These miniature ecosystems are typically found in urban and suburban areas where natural vegetation and wildlife habitats are limited. Pocket prairies provide essential shelter and food for local birds, insects, and small mammals, promoting biodiversity in our community.
