Battle of the Books 2022 - 2023 District Winners

 

REGION I BATTLE OF THE BOOKS Feb. 22 – 24, 2023

 

Elem: Gallegos Elem. competed against 13 school districts – they enjoyed and gained valuable experience

TEAM MEMBERS; ALEJANDRO SANCHEZ -  DESIREE MARTINEZ – MARTIN NEVAREZ

 

Middle School – Stillman MS. Competed against 16 school districts and tied for 3^rd place with three other school districts – CONGRATULATIONS!

TEAM MEMBERS: VIVICA CRUZ – MIGUEL MOLANO-KEVIN MORLES-ARON RECIO

 

High School – Veterans Memorial ECHS Competed against 12 school districts and won 2^nd Place with a score of 71 out of 80 points.  Sharyland HS won 1^st place with 72 points.   

TEAM MEMBERS: VICTORIA SILVA – DANIA BAZAN – JAY VALDIVIA

This is Veterans second year in a row earning 2^nd place.  CONGRATULATIONS!!
