District Leadership Team for School Improvement
The Texas Education Agency requires that a district form a District Leadership Team (DLT) to conduct Texas Accountability Intervention procedures. The DLT creates a Strategic Support Plan (SSP) to address any areas of concern from the Results Driven Accountability (RDA) ratings or district-wide program area Corrective Action Plans. The DLT also reviews the Special Education Self-Assessment findings and findings from any Data Review Compliance Unit (DRCU) areas including Leavers, Discipline, and Student Assessment.
Membership of the District Leadership Team includes district administrators for Bilingual, Special Education, Career and Technical Education, Curriculum & Instruction, as well as representatives from campus leadership and other stakeholders.
