BISD Calendar Committee

Every year the district form a district Instructional Calendar Committee to draft calendars for the next academic school year. The committee is composed of volunteers from the DEIC and department representatives from Professional Development, Finance, Human Resources, Curriculum, and Assessment.

 

The Committee meets several times beginning in October through December to create two or three options. These options are then sent out to all district faculty and staff to vote on to select the instructional calendar to be submitted for approval by the BISD Board of Trustees.

 

The Instructional Calendar for BISD for 2021-2022 was approved by the BISD Board of Trustees on March 2, 2021.
