District Education Improvement Council
The Brownsville ISD District Education Improvement Council is the TEA required elected organization composed of at least two-thirds teaching faculty, representation from the community, business, parents and campus/district-level professional staff. This group is responsible for creating and monitoring the District Improvement Plan among other activities.
