Transfer Information and Guidelines
The employee transfer period will begin on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The deadline to submit a transfer application will be Thursday, May 01, 2025 before 12 midnight. It is imperative that ALL personnel be advised of the Transfer Application and Guidelines, including personnel who may be out on any type of approved leave.
All employees are eligible to apply for a transfer. Any employee wishing to be considered for a transfer must use this time to do so. Certified and Classified employees must submit an on-line transfer application before 12 midnight on Thursday, May 01, 2025. It is the employee’s responsibility to meet the deadline
2025-2026 Employee Transfer Guidlines
- ANY employee may request a transfer.
- The employee transfer must be lateral in nature and must not involve a change in pay grade and/or days of employment: i.e. teacher to teacher, teacher aide to teacher aide, etc.
- Transfer recommendations shall be based on available vacancies, criteria for the selection of personnel, and recommendations after the campus/department interviews.
- Certified and Classified Employees shall initiate the request for transfer by applying on-line. The employee requesting the transfer must complete all employee information. A transfer request may be rescinded in writing but MAY NOT be added after the deadline.
- The Employee Transfer Application Period will begin on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Employees must apply on-line before 12 midnight Thursday, May 01, 2025.
- The transfer applicant may not contact the Principal/Administrator of the prospective school/department. Be advised that initiating contact may jeopardize an employee’s request for a transfer.
- An employee who is granted a transfer will begin at zero seniority in the newly assigned school/department. Anyone not notified will retain their current position.
- If a Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designated teacher voluntarily transfers to another school, the allotment generated will be based on the new campus, as reported in the winter class roster campus demographics.
- Successful transfer candidates will be notified by Human Resources via letter, and will be given an “Authority to Report to Work” for the 2025-2026 school year.
