The Margaret Clark Aquatic Center was awarded the Gold Level Swim Provider by the American Red Cross for serving one of the highest numbers of children in Learn to Swim and Water Safety in the state of Texas. 

This past school year 2,487 2nd graders and 406 life skills and SFL students were taught the fundamentals of swimming and water safety skills. 

This is the 5th time the BISD aquatic center has received this award
