Destination Imagination (DI) is an extraordinary organization that challenges its participants to utilize their creativity to solve challenges. Students participate with other teams around their region, the state, nation and all around the world. While students are competing, the true rewards comes from the process of learning to apply their creativity, learn new techniques and develop many skills in order to solve their challenge. Teams work together for up to 12 weeks to solve their central challenge given to them by the National DI Headquarters and are also given several instant challenges that allows them to think on their feet, such as by creating a bridge out of straws in only minutes. |
