TEA Best Practices Case Study
On September 23, 2014, the Commissioner of Education Michael Williams announced that the TEA had identified 11 campuses to take part in a best practices case studies project. Ortiz Elementary was 1 of the 11 campuses designated by TEA as High Performing and High Progress Title I Reward Schools. All have proven successful in classroom efforts on campuses with a high percentage of students from economically disadvantaged families and high mobility rates. Attached is the Reward Schools summary and also the case summaries that resulted from this project.
