Lincoln Park School takes pride in the luxury of having an "on campus" store for the benefit of its students and their babies. It is the most popular feature on campus for all students. Merchandise consisting of pampers, baby wipes, baby clothes, car seats, high chairs, and much more is on stock on a weekly basis. Students earn points through an advisory card system that is used to monitor a student's performance, progress, and conduct on a daily basis.
The student's ultimate goal is to achieve 35 points on the advisory card by the end of the week. The points turn into coupons for the students which are then redeemed at the store for their choices of merchandise. The store is open on Mondays during their home room class. It is a big incentive for our students to attend class on a regular basis as well as demonstrate academic productivity and a positive attitude. All merchandise items are purchased and funded through the awarding of the PEP Grant.
