Welcome to Brownsville ISD!

Students new to Brownsville ISD can now enroll online using BISD Powerschool registration. This process allows us to better serve our community and the familes joining BISD from areas throughout the United States and even the world. The link for the 2019-2020 online registration is currently available to new students and returning students.

A Snapcode is needed to complete the returning student packet. Snapcodes were emailed in June 2019 and letters sent to families without an email on file with BISD. If you did not receive your student's Snapcode at that time, please contact your child’s campus beginning July 25th for Elementary campuses and July 17th for secondary campuses

Access to the District's electronic communications system is a privilege, not a right. The District will maintain a website for the purpose of informing employees, students, parents, and members of the community of programs, policies, and practices. Electronic communications also include the District's webserver. The District's webserver houses which is the district's main page (homepage). It is the duty and responsibility of all departments and campuses to update and maintain their individual Web sites related to the homepage.
Requests for publication of information on the District website must be directed to the district's Public Information Administrator. It is also the duty of the office of Public Information to successfully maintain the portion of the main page that directly relates to the news, announcements, current events, and information and to change the pictures and captions. It is the duty and responsibility of all departments and campuses to update and maintain their individual websites. It is imperative that department or campus administration be responsible for the content provided to make sure that it meets the guidelines set forth in the Acceptable Use Policy and Improper Use of the Computer System. No commercial advertising will be permitted on a website controlled by the District.
