It is our mission at Dr. Juliet V. Garcia Middle School to provide students with a diverse educational foundation consisting of high levels of academic, artistic, and athletic achievement as determined by local, state, and national standards. This will be accomplished by using a support system involving school, parents, and community in a safe and structured environment.

Dr. Juliet V. García Middle School is located near the Port of Brownsville in Brownsville, Texas and serves students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. The school opened its doors to the community in August 2002. García Middle School is named after Dr. Juliet V. García, President of the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College.

	Dress Code
	-Royal Blue Polo Shirts with khakis pants or denim blue jeans only no open toe shoes will be allowed. Royal Blue shirts are being sold inside the front office at Garcia Middle School.

	-Parent conferences can be set up during teachers conference period please call front office to set up appointment at 956-832-6300.
