Nestled deep on Avenida Rancho Viejo, is one of Brownsville's
EXEMPLARY elementary schools,
Dr. Ruben Gallegos Elementary. The
school is formed by a team of professionals committed to meeting
the myriad of instructional and emotional needs of all Gallegos
students. Gallegos Elementary promotes numerous student
organizations to enhance the educational experience of students.
Students are involved in U.I.L., Chess, Safety Patrol, Ballroom
Dancing, and Cheerleading. Trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, caring, fairness and
citizenship are all a part of the everyday life for Gallegos
students and faculty.
