The Department of Advanced Academic Services provides an array of opportunities and options for advanced learners through programs such as:  GALAXY [Gifted Academic Learning Achieving Excellence for Youth]-Gifted and Talented Program; Pre-Advanced Placement (Pre-AP) and Advanced Placement (AP); Credit by Examination Without Prior Instruction; Alternative  Credit Options; Advanced Academic Programs; Dual Enrollment; UIL Academics and the Scholastic Chess Program.
