Welcome to Cummings Middle School
Cummings Middle School is located next to Dean Porter Park and Gladys Porter Zoo in the original town site of Brownsville, Texas. The school was built in 1950, opening its doors in September of 1950. It serves approximately 900 students in grades 6, 7 and 8, and through various programs we make the effort to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
