Elementary Computer Lab Rules

 

Before You Come In

 

    1. Line up outside the door.
    2. Wait quietly.
    3. Clean hands if needed.
    4. Gum, candy, food not allowed.
 

When You Come In

    1. Sit at your assigned computer.
    2. Wait quietly for instructions.
    3. Keep your hands to yourself.

While You're Working

    1. Stay in your seat.
    2. Keep your eyes on your own screen.
    3. Keep your hands to yourself.
    4. Raise your hand when you need help.

 

When It's Time to Go

 

   1. Log off quickly
    2. Leave your area neat, clean, and organized.
    3. Push in your chair.
    4. Line up single file at the door.
    5. Wait quietly for the teacher to pick you up.

 

Respect the Equipment

    1. Touch only the keyboard and mouse.

    2. Do not touch the computer screen.
    3. Be gentle to equipment.
    4. Don’t twist or pull on cords.
    5. Keep cords out of your mouth.

If You Have an Emergency

    1. Restroom – Ask for permission and then go.
    2. If you’re going to be sick use the trash can or go to the restroom.

Rewards

    1. Good Behavior = Gold Class
    2. Satisfactory Behavior = Green Class

    3 .Needs Improvement = Blue Class

Consequences

    Warning #1: Verbal warning,
    Warning #2: Loss of computer time
    Warning #3: One day at the table without computer time
    Warning #4: Mrs. Gomez or Mrs. Camargo's office
