If you are being bullied, or witness bullying happening to someone else, be sure to report it using Talk About It. This sends an anonymous message to the counselors and administrators, who can help resolve the situation. Don't stay silent. If you see something, say something.

Many of your teachers are now using Schoology, an online learning environment, to help you do your assignments and take quizzes and tests. Be sure to complete your assignments.

Computer Lab Available for Homework
The computer lab in Lab 112 is available for students who have been assigned digital coursework. You may work in the lab after school from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

If you need help with the computers, Mr. Hawkins or Mr. Granado will be available to assist you. Stop on by and let's get working.
School Supplies
Come prepared to work every day with the following list of school supplies. Your individual teachers may require more than these items as well:
  • 1 or 2 composition notebooks
  • 1 3-ring binder
  • pencils
  • pencil sharpener
  • pens
  • 1 or 2 packages index cards
Dress Code Guidelines
Dress code is strictly enforced at Besteiro Middle School. Please review the dress code requirements.
  • Clean kakhis or blue jeans
  • Plain Navy blue shirt (T-shirt or polo with NO images or writing)
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • No piercings for boys, only ear piercings for girls
  • No hats

search for images with CreativeCommons.org When you search for images to use in your research papers and PowerPoints, you need to be careful to make sure you're giving the images proper citation. You also need to make sure you can actually use the images you're putting in your paper or PowerPoint.
