Text Box: The mission of Student Accounting is to ensure that the basis used by the district to record and process attendance accounting data meets the standards of the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook.  The mission is accomplished by working with campuses to ensure that attendance data gathering techniques are constantly revised an updated. Professionals and paraprofessionals are in-serviced with the latest significant changes to the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook. Administrators, special program staff, PEIMS supervisors, teachers, attendance, data entry, bilingual and vocation education clerks, are made aware of their individual responsibilities, in order for the district to receive the maximum amount of funding for all the students.  Working together to assemble the required attendance and special program data for accuracy and completeness is imperative.
