Our Mission
The Internal Audit Department is designed to add value and improve the Brownsville Independent School District's operations by providing an independent, objective assurance, and consulting services to the Internal Audit Committee, the Superintendent of Schools, and Senior Management. It will help the district accomplish it's objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance.
