Wal-Mart account is now a business account for our school district. Therefore,  a prepayment check will no longer be needed to make a purchase.                                      "SUPERIOR ACHIEVEMENT"

It is with great pleasure to announce that the Brownsville Independent School District has once again received a "Superior Achievement" rating from the Texas School Finance Accountability Rating System for fiscal year ended June 30, 2010.

This marks the 9th straight year the district has earned the highest rating from the financial accountability system for Texas school districts.

The Finance Department would like to congratulate the entire district (schools and departments) for contributing to this achievement.
