Assessment Division
Goal: To support instruction with proper testing procedures and accurate testing information.
Objectives
1. To administer local and state mandated tests.
2. To administer and score district-wide tests (i.e., NRT, CRT, etc.).
3. To provide assistance in the scanning and scoring for identification process.
4. To analyze and report test results, as needed.
5. To interpret federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to testing and monitoring.
6. To provide assistance to school personnel in analyzing and interpreting data.
7. To coordinate the adoption, ordering and distribution of test materials for use in testing program throughout the district.
8. To maintain assessment databases and distribute testing scores to campuses.
9. To provide campus accountability data.
Research/Evaluation Division
Goal: To provide analysis data to measure performance or achievement of program services for diagnostic planning.
Objectives
1. To conduct special research projects directed by Superintendent and Deputy.
2. To analyze and report district longitudinal trends for the superintendent and administration.
3. To administer district level surveys.
4. To respond to public information requests about the district.
5. To support decision making by gathering, analyzing, and reporting data on an on-going basis.
6. To provide a systematic and timely evaluation of school district programs.
7. To gather information to facilitate the completion of surveys that government requires for continuation of
funds (i.e., G/T parents, teachers and students, Federal Programs, etc.).
8. To provide information to District advisory committees.
9. To provide a systematic description of school districts programs, the amount of services given, and the
identity of those receiving services.
10. To provide assistance on evaluation to managers and school personnel.
