Five Hanna High School seniors were selected to attend the Texas A&M E12 Explore Engineering Camp at College Station in July.  Each student was chosen to participate and compete in one of the following projects: Solar Energy, Wind Energy, and Robotics.  The students were coached and mentored by current Texas A&M students and professors.  All five of the students placed in the top three in their respective projects.  In addition to the competition, the students were treated to an orientation of the Texas A&M campus, a tour of the world-renowned Engineering Department, and the opportunity to experience college life.  The students are, from left to right, Matthew Gutierrez, Adrian Barron, Fernando Paredes, Eduardo DueƱas, and Thomas Hull IV.
