Approximately 300 community and district volunteers, the highest number to date, participated in the 4th Annual Walk for the Future held on Saturday, September 15. The volunteers were divided into over 50 teams that visited the homes of 454 students who have not returned to school this year. The teams encouraged the students to return and earn their high school diplomas. In the past 3 years, 460 students have completed high school as a result of this initiative.
